hey..

not a corsa i know but some of the pics might help people and i know others like progress pics

bars welded in to bolt side mounting plates too ...



side mounting plates bolted to bars ...



seats bolted into the whole setup (harnesses still being delivered ) ...



cage ready now to have mounting plates welded into the car ...



oh and finally my richard burns sticker from the rb5 club personally my cheapest and best mod ...

yeah sorry it's a 206 gti ... just waiting on the carbon door cards and centre dash panel being delivered too

yeah it was kind of no going back when i had to cut the carpet out and rip the roof liner down that was held in with glue ... not looked back though and i'm loving it

is welding the bars really the only way to reliably mount these brackets at a decent distance?? i know the cross-member there can not be removed, as its a stregnthening part

i was told by a few people that it was a really bad idea just to bolt the seats to the floorpan .. the bars will atleast disperse some of the pressure

never fancied the idea of bolting directly to the floor either, not exactly the thickest of metals...

just dont want it to look messy really, but then again... messy vs practicallity... its a hard choice!
