If I taxed a car today would they start it from the beggining a january so I loose 3 weeks?

If you're renewing, just tell them it's to follow on from your current tax-disc......I made them write a new tax-disc last year, since they started to write it on one that would have only given me 11 months cover.

Im sure if its something like a week before end of the month they will have the new tax discs in so will give u 1 of those

You don't loose any weeks though because it's done by month, not day...

they allow u to tax it 2-3 days ealrly thats all or its to the begining of the month

yes you effectly losoe 2-3weeks as it's mid month.

If you're renewing you can do so after the 15th of the month (I have the form infront of me as mine runs out this month).

If you're taxing after it's been declared SORN you'll lose whatever time though (same as when you buy a new car without tax) -- there's nothing to continue from.

It will start from the begining of the month.
Either way if it needs taxing it has to be done

not been funny but if it under a 1.6 car ur only paying 60 for the 6 month so ur only losine about £5-7 anyway

Hassle of getting some insurance just to tax it.

Then may take the black corsa of the road in the summer when that tax runs out and sort the body work and suspension
