sad news... had Email last night about it.
reads like this
Dear Valued Trader
It is with much regreet and sadness that we have to announce that the Weston Wheels event will not be taking place this year.
Since the 2005 event which saw our biggest attendance ever we have been working on the 2006 event. However due to the new licensing laws which came into force over the past year and the extra requirements which would be required by the local authorities to solve many of the problems seen in 2005 it has become unviable for us to continue the event in its present format.
We would like to personally thank all sponsors and exhibitors for the previous five years of continued support and look forward to seeing you at the other shows this year.
Kind Regards
Rosey

Yeah they had a big rave in the same field the night before, West Fest or something like that, obviously being a rave there was a load of people there pissed and drugged up, they didnt just rip up all the markings for clubs, but also went around trashing some of the cars that was about, my mate had paintballs shot all over his, and I even heard about some hummer getting trashed too.
This then caused big long queues which I assume spread out to the road, which is probably why they can't hold it again. all because of some druggies
To be honest I was considering not going in 2006 anyway, because of the ass ache that I had trying to get in on the clubstands, it was 1pm before I got where i was supposed to be, and I arrived in weston at about 9.30/10 !! my mate blew the rad hose on his renault because of all the start/stop nonsense
