where i've taken seats out recentely i just noticed that the little red clip on seatbelt thingy attached to chair (looks like a firework) wasn't taken back out of the safety hole

only noticed as i haven't put the plastic trim back on that covers it up

did it before but only noticed after about 3months when i took seats out again

what would of happened if i'd crashed?

its the pre-tensioner on the belt, so i guess your belt would of locked in position if you crashed.

Your pre tensioner wouldn't go off... So you risk slipping out of the top of the belt or submairining under the lap belt snapping your back...

It's pretty dangerous as it helps your chances of not getting serious injury in a crash a fair bit.

would make little difference.
As said would just be like crashing a nova!
It only pulls the belt tight. Belt would still lock up the moment you started to move forwards!
