Sounds harsh but with no witnesses it looks like from an insurance view that you just went in the back of him; therefore your fault. And as he was a taxi driver he will have suffered loss of earnings whilst he dosnt have a car to work in. Harsh but i wouldnt fancy your chances

Insurance company will have solicitors so dont be suprised the letters from them.
I feel your pain matey, if you have witnesses (better than i did) then hopefully the scamming twat wont get a penny!
I wish you all the luck in the world mate, just been through something similar, hes praying on you as your young and have a modded car. That doesnt mean shit to a solicitor, nor an insurance company they are only interested in who was a twat.

got to the accident 5 mins after it had happened, no witnesses but it was pretty obvious whats happened, typical taxi driver stunt of just pulling out straight over into the right lane
