Been told the alarm that came standard on my 05 reg corsa sri is a cat 2 alarm, think it has just interior sensors and usual door/bonnet/boot pins. Do vauxhall do an upgrade with exterior sensors? Went down to Vauxhall before and the monkey there didnt have a clue, he didn't even know you could get exterior sensors for any alarms

i hav a standard cat 2 on my first corsa c, i got this upgraded to a cat 1 scorpion alarm for summat like £160

I'm sure to get upgrade to Cat 1 it must automatically arm as well as possible a few other things.

did you have it done by vaux? wasn't impressed by the workmanship of my last alarm that i had done at sextons

i got a cat1 alarm fitted to mine and then had a cat 2 to 1 upgrade on the imobiliser for not alot!

Yeah place near me do 2-1 upgrades for about 150 ish.

think if you don't go in the car it will arm/lock itself again, is that what you mean?

if it is standrad from factory they are deffo cat 1
