Got my new car on saturday, 05 Corsa C 1.8 Sri in Flame Red. Loving it already
However woke up this morning went out and some jealous fuc*** has put a nice dent in it, above the N/S Rear quarter window. Its like a football has hit it but it hasnt been in a situation where it could have been hit by one.
Went for a quote at a bodyshop earlier, they said they might be able to pull it out by melting candlewax onto it, leaving it to go hard then pulling it out, without leaving a mark? Anyone know if this is how it is meant to be done?
He said if that doesnt work it will need to be filled and the whole side of the car resprayed
Gutted

never herd of that cadle wax one but if its a large shallow dent they should have a sucker cup which basically sucks onto it and then pull it out but if that doesnt work then will need to be filled and most probs the whole side done as it is red!

i don't know whether to take it to this place or not, sounds a bit cowboy to me
might just take it to vauxhall further away as the one near me doesn't have a bodyshop

Sounds a bit suspect, just ring a Dent removal firm. We have a guy come to our work called The Dentman and he can get rid of pretty much anything without leaving a mark just using rods etc to push it out from behind.
