In the letter / meeting it said "you might not be made redundant" apparently this is a new law..
Basically they can offer me any job at all, sweeping the floor or anything, if i dont accept this role then i leave without pay.
Eitherway looks like im stuffed.
actually no they can't/ they have to offer you a job with the same pay, same responsablity etc etc or you claim contructive dismissal and get cash anyway.
Exactly. If the job is very different from your current one, they have to offer you redundancy. If you take the job anyway (your choice) you dont get redundancy pay.

I used to think I would mind redundancy from here as i'd get a fair wedge but i'd really struggle to get a job that pays this much.

I am getting seriously pissed off !!
I have absolutley loads to do and next door have nothing to do and they haven't even been made redundant !!
Going to tell my boss in a min that i have no chance in getting it all done as there is too much to do and im taking my breaks...
The guys next door are just sitting there day after day with nothing to do, with a job and im working hard (well meant to be) with loads of work and no job !
Im the busiest person here !!
WHAT A JOKE
