ive seen a gsi for sale, and iam thinking about getting it and was just wondering what insurance group they are?
iam 19 with 1yncb and pass pluss, been driving for 2 years, just done an online quote with norich union and it said that i had to ring them, whys that?

you should be fine getting insured, im 18 - ncb on a 1.6 16v with a dblias, 1230 i think it is ..

bacuse NU are shit for insuring young drivers if they drive anything with a engine over the size of 1200cc

quite a few companies only insure GSi now if your over 21 with it being group 11

iam 19 wiv elephant wiv NCB and its £1000 fully comp on my own aswell so its pritty cheap!

just done a quick quote with elephant
£1306.37 on a 10 month bonus thing,
not bad, just been paying that on my 1.4 sport

no pics yet as i dont want anyone else snapping it up, lol

mark with elephant to get insurance down put your mum and sisters if u got any on your insurance and it will come down by £200 it did for me and 2 other mates!

Also did for me m8t put my dad on they took £300 off and give me breakdown cover for nothing.

at the end of them 10months if no claim is made you get 1yr NCB but it can only be used with elephant, cant use it with other companys, so just wasting your time really.

yeh theres already another thread about it, ive reported it to ebay any way becasue some one is going to get ripped off.

sent him an email two saying hes a tool, he replied basically saying "people know its cams, people ain't stupid"

ow and for insurance try admiral stick ya mam n dad as named drivers, my swift gti costs me £690 odd a year group 11 insurance 20 years old and no no-claims
