look at the ipswich town reserves team, Marcus Garnham in goal (remember that name i have a feeling he will make it) he was in the year below me, we used to play football on the field together at school during lunch.
Substitute Ollie Fenn, he's 16/17, i played at under 7's level with him 
just look if i took the direction these 2 took, and worked hard at my football, i could have been playing against arsenal on tuesday but no, after under 7's level i stopped playing until i was 15

i know what you mean Edd, this is just a thread to let out my envy
but these are people that i used to play football along side, friends. lets just say i was closer friends, and i joined the same boys teams as they did, and imporved along side them, now if they have got this far, i keep thinking i could too. i mean ollie wasn't all that special at under 7's, there were better boys than him, just his dad was the teams coach lol. and when i got too old for that team, i stopped. now if i carried on along side ollie, who knows!!!

know how feel i was a promising young talent got injured (achilles tendon) had to give it up
still play for fun but always wondered what if,dont do it to yourself just be happy with what you've got
