Best going into Travel agents for late deals. We went to Zante with Thomson and it was good, but a 2 week holiday in October was just under a grand

Canaries is your best bet, some bird who i've just got reaquainted with over xmas (known her for years tho) is going to work in lanzarote today until April so might do my skiing in march for a week then try and go straight their for another week of free accomodation

you can fly to västerås from Luton. Just up the road from me. Its minus ten at the minute though so might not meet all your prerequisites.....
