Last four cars in the top couple of pics should be in heated garages and getting thrashed on empty roads or driven to shows and meets the rest of the time.

Racing them (especially like that) is plain risky and downright wrong

these cars were built to be driven stop being such a nonce, would much rather see someone enjoying a car like that than having it sat in a garage trailered round the country to be written off by a big truck then they would be saying i wish i had written it off when ragging the arse off it racing round a track

99% of people couldnt have taken pictures that well

the fact hes about 250ft from it as well makes it quite impresive as well IMO (waits to be critcised that this shouldnt matter)

Exactly, IMO thats good photography, camera man stood his ground, lesser men would have shat themselves and moved.

Disgusted with people saying "its only a ford" and "best thing to happen to them"

I did say thrashed on empty roads (not pampered - can't stand the polishing brigade) - These cars and their parts are too valuable and too much in short supply to be used in this kind of motorsport.

I bet the chap in the XR4i wasn't particularly enjoying his car as it barrel rolled across the track.

You're better off using them for drag racing, hill climbs, sprints and any other form of timed event where you stand much less chance of hitting things, especially similar cars.

If you're gonna race full contact you're better of using an XR2i or a 205 GTi or similar.

And please don't call me a nonce.

I'm sure like most people, I find being accused of child sex abuse quite offensive.

I have never insulted you and am unlikely to do so.
I try to keep my comments to the pleasant and factual side of things rather than plain abusive.
