after all the trouble I had with my brakes the other month - I've finally had the time today to get working on them - took the offside drum off and out fell a load of bits, bent and batterered springs and a load of congealed brake fluid - hence my lack of brakes - the pad on the shoe was carved and hacked to bits; big groove cut/slashed diaganally across it!!!
I've finished the nearside rebuild, new everything, brake cylinder, drum, shoes, fitting kit, springs and backing plate
came to do the offside and cant get the foOKin brake cylinder off - Ive got the grub screw/retaining nut off - but cant get the cylinder itself off - any ideas - It appears to be the type with only one retaining screw not two......
