I never used to pay attention to fuel prices, after passed my test when I went for petrol I just filled it up
Still do that now! But will look at the price first and if its well high I go to the next one but im not like some folk I know who will drive another 10miles or so just to get petrol which is about 2p cheaper than the local

remember the value of money has changed a tiny bit with inflation...so when you say 50p in 1989/1990 that would be a different 50p to now (probs worth more like 70p?)
its so annoying where the money for petrol goes though...straight to the government for benefits for people who cant be arsed to work, which is understandable but just annoying for me.
Petrol has dropped a lot recently though? 95p > 84.9
