LS = Lux Special
GL = Grand Lux

SXi = Sports Xtra Injection
GTE = Grand Touring Einspritz (German for Injection and probably spelt wrong)
GSi = Grand Sport Injection

my omega therfore is a grand lux sport. yet the only thing sport about it is the fact the keys for my corsa are on the same keyring.

God! So that means there is a worse Corsa than mine, as mine was an LS.

What models were an L then? 1.0 with a four speed?

The racing Corsa is a GLS... probably why its unbeaten.
