Have just been u2u'ing ajmair about his engine conversion.

Hes got me thinking that rather than have all the ballache of a conversion , I could just get a sport or GSi and transfer all parts ?

Just wondering what I could get a pretty tidy GSi for ?

Cheers

And for the simple reason that all I would really want would be the engine and shell, would you say it would be wise to transfer everything , including bumpers etc to the gsi , or would this be criminal

GSis aren't going to be that clean unless you find a low mileage one, newest ones will be about 10 years old by now so bodywork might need some TLC.

Personally would go for as new as you can get low mileage 1.6 Sport and GSi kit it
