Thinking of getting a newer car, have 2 years and 9 months no claims, and my current insurer won't insure me on it until im over 21. If i change companies can i keep the full 2 years and 9 months or will i lose 9 months?

norwich union. insurance group 9 isn't particularly high is it? im 19, 20 in m arch

ye norwich union r pretty gay. at 17 they insured me on a mk2 vtr an at 19 they wudnt insure me on the older version cos i wasnt 21
