How do you do this?
I just had a crack with my Nokia N70 - but I'm holding the phone in the hand with the wheel... = not great control on wheel and my car's torque steering all over the road ... end result = crap video 
How do people do it? I see loads posted.

Not at the moment and nailing it...
The other day I accelerated away from some lights, on a straight dual carriageway... 2 hands on wheel - due to the slippery conditions the front wheels just kept spinning up and causing the car to torque steer all over the road as it searched for grip... When it found grip it'd pull the car over that way, then lose grip and spin up again. Did it through 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear ... Just shows you how shitty and slippery our roads are at the moment.
To be honest though, I just don't feel safe with 1 hand on the wheel while trying to hold a phone in the same hand... you don't have a proper grip and if anything happened you wouldn't be able to control the car properly.

I used a shit load (like a whole pack) of bluetack and made a custom mount infront of the speedo stack when I was on a drift day

My phone fits perfectly inside my steering wheel haha
Just try not to turn the wheel as your pulling off

i recoreded a video with 1 hand, going from 20-120+ mph  was easy untill i had to brake hard and the car was all over the road
