oyea sorry 4got to add you need a biggish tank that has a light on constantly and i had 2 rock things in aswell that it somtimes sat on for a bit but apart from that i think thats it

i'll be honest, my mate works for the reptile sanctuary in brum called proteus and the amount of red eared sliders they get is phenominal. they have to turn people down because so many people get fed up of them and hand them in. i kept 2 that i caught in the canal next to my house, 1 got stolen, the other i gave away. kept them outside and changed the water every couple of days but you will prob get bored. not a judgement of you but i don't know a single person who has kept one for more than 6 months. go and buy some tokay gecko's if you want somethin interesting imo.

i had normal ones at first then they got too big so took em too a sancturary then i bought some mini ones not sure of the name but only grew to like erm size of prigle lid died in the end heater in tank burnt out so they boiled brought a tear too me eye bless em eat raw bacon and end of your fingers lol want some more but pet shop round near me say that they carnt get any more
