Me and a friend were talking about this today at work, we would both love to do it, go and experience different cultures and people, would be amazing i think.

But where do you start? i mean like what do you need, visa? travelers cheques or a certain amount of cash in your account before certain contries will let you in? how does it work?

or do you just wake up pick a direction and go theres a lot of places id want to go, mexico, asia, india, etc how do you go about organising it all?

I often work abroad and while I'm there, have time out after the jobs done and sealed up, it's good to see how other cultures operate etc.... Some are more stressy than Brits, some are very relaxed (as am I).

i think that u can buy round the world tickets and tailor make them to your needs.

I'll ask him if u want m8

if u was serious about it, id be up for going, as its something that ive been wanting to do for ages

Yes, you can arrange all your flights to random destinations all in one booking.

Apparently there's a business class ticket you can buy which gives unlimited stop offs, so you just stop in loads of places. Was on some holiday programme or something. I was talking to a guy in a cafe about it.

depends where you go, oz and nz you get 3 months holiday or 12 months working visas. Should apply a couple of months before you go but mine was rushed through in 2 weeks. Most asian countries will give you a 4 week visiting permit on arrival, longer than that and youll have to cross a border to get your passport stamped then re enter. In terms of just getting tickets as you go - most countries wont let you enter without a return ticket eg for australia yu have to have a return booked. There is no such thing as an open ended ticket anymore either - you have an arranged date that you can then change for a nominal fee. Most people who get multi stop off tickets normally sell the last few locations as they are broke! Oz and NY require you to have a few grand in your bank acccount. Its not as cheap as you think but well worth it. Getting a job is not as easy as people say either in places like oz especially with no trade/ work experience.
