What do the rest of you guys and girls use to clean. I got some normal shampoo and some Meguiars deep crystal finish stuff, only step one, bought some Carnauba wax because ive heard its good.
however i cant find anything that gets crap off the car. Its white and picks up so much sh*t. Also i have fox guts and brains over my car after some middle aged wench cut me up then hit a fox rite infront of me, spilling it over my car.
Dead fox is hard to get off, so i wondered if anyone here has any tips on car cleaning and products to use. A modded car is great but it looks crap when its covered in road kill and salt grit.
Thanks

I use autoglym tar remover to get tar and other stains off the bodywork. doesn't damage the paint either. a good polish should also remove any marks

zymol products are in my opinion and leave lovely shine on the car. Just using the shampoo works wonders and leaves car gleaming, smells nice too... kinda like bananas or sumthin

Sounds good, its a lot of effort though, a car wash near me gets it looking brilliant but after i got broke into, and the passenger door bent, its hard to wash because water leaks in
But should have that sorted soon

I use, when detailing my car for shows:
Meguars Tech Shampoo,
Mequairs Claybar with quick detailer
Meguairs Gold Class Polish
Meguairs Tech Wax
Meguars Wheel Polish
Simioniz Bumper black on the wipers and stuff
Simioniz Wet look Tyre shine
Mequairs Glass Cleaner
I use Meguairs Glass Cloths and Meguaris Polishing Cloths too...
"I use Meguairs because it's the best" as I famously quoted on a video for a Max Power DVD. However I don't think I was used because I was too drunk

PC Porter cable polisher, It's random orbital polisher. When used with the correct products and pads can get rid of swirls marks and such like here is an example.

cleaned my car last week and used
random halfords alloy wheel cleaner on the wheels then warm fairy liquid.
rinsed with hose
polished with turtle wax wet wax cause i was lazy and didnt want to use the proper stuff. but the results were just as good
then i just nipped round tidying up the plastic with some plastic trim polish. lable came off a while back so i dont know what it is but its in a small black bottle and works very well

not good to use washing up liquids as they contain salt which acts as an abrasive to clean plates, etc. Not good when your rubbing the stuff all over paintwork = swirlmarks.
