Corsa 2002 1.2

Went for MOT yesterday, good news and bad news, sailed through MOT, then mechanic went for a spin and said the clutch will only last a few more months at most!

Anybody a rough estimate how much a clutch costs inc labour.

Well mines a fair bit older (1994) but my clutch from an independant garage cost me £130 inc. labour. Vauxhall wanted £345!

vauxhall are idiots, they wanted 42 pound to change the gear knob, a shop behind my petrol station the guy did it in 2 secs and charged me a whopping nothin...

How have you killed the clutch on a 3 year old car already

Vauxhall wanted £600 to replace my fuel tank. My car is only worth about £1600. So technically my car is write off

just wait untill it starts to slip

If you try to pull away in say second gear with the handbrake on... if the car tries to pull then its got a few more miles left yet!
