The course finishes in June, you've only 6 months of humiliation at most if it doesn't work out.

just do it, i surprised myself yesterday, after viewing a flat shown round by a really nice girl i made the snap decsion to ask her out for a drink, needless to say whe was already settled with someone.
You have to make these decisions quick before someone else does.

I was in a relationship with someone i worked with for 2 years, but we kinda drifted apart and are still good friends although i have a different job now so dont see her all day, but it does work, usually its the relationship that doesnt not because you see each other all the time.
