I check a few times a week. I had a scare once, i slight ache and a lump, went to the docs and all was ok!

I say its best to check, I know quite a few people that have had/been affected by various cancers.

If testicular cancer is found early its one of the most treatable there is.

But when people dont check and notice it the cancer spreads to the stomach area aswell as other places and becomes fairly deadly.

Still think its best not to check!!?

you wouldnt just drop dead though, you would more than likely get cancer of some other organ as it spreads (likely to spread to stomach, lung, etc from what ive read) and be in ALOT of pain. Testicular cancer if caught early is hardly ever a killer, its one of the most treatable cancer's there is!

So I know what Id rather do!

yeah was going to say this. Most men dont check, and the first sign of them having testicular cancer is when they get a pain either just above the colar bone or stomach...this is normally caused by the spread of the cancer to these areas.

you can get pain in the testes but the first sign is a lump on the outside. they then remove the teste and give you a dose of chemo/radio therapy. if it is caught at that stage before metastasis of the cancer then there is a huge chance of survival
