all vtr badges are just silver, but vts badges have the vt silver, and the S is yellow......like on the video.

Maybe its a VTR badged as a VTS, ive seen that sooo many time. Or possibly the Audi's engine is non standard.
A VTS would put up a better fight against a standard S3 than that if driven right.

its a saxo vts racing a standard s4 2.7 v6 TT. s3 would still have won but the vts would of put up a good fight at lower speeds

Interesting though... as it doesn't sound like a VTS and it looks really really really slow. VTS's I'm guessing give a rasp noise like my Gti does, that sounded more of a farty low down noise you usually get on 8vs?
Not a VTR badged up maybe?
If not... either the vts driver couldn't drive / wasn't giving it 100% (i.e. the motorway bit, he hardly seems to be flying when he catches up to them, if he had wanted he'd have been doing over 100 by then) ... OR.. that Audi is F*CKING F*CKing quick....
I think it's a bit of both to be honest.
I know myself, I'd happily race acceleration wise but then not go much top speed wise or overtaking due to safety / risk of losing license. Though that audi seemed sooo quick.

Ah just read above it's a S4 2.7 v6 TT ... I thought it was a S3 ... No wonder it got it's ass handed to it then!
