It's for the 2.0, it only gets driven in the summer to shows and stuff... Well, when it's done. Not too bothered about the ride on it because of the tyres too

Used to quite like my Koni's, but I've been in a Bilstein equipped car and kinda preferred it. Bumps were felt but not harsh like the Koni's.

If it's a show car maybe go for coilovers so you can get your height set exactly as you want it?

This was an Astra Mk3. They're non-adjustable and really only suited to slightly uprated springs (or standard).

I would get coilovers, but I prefer the simplicity of having fixed height suspension, I am also happy with the ride height of the car, even though some people call it a bit of a tractor

I think I will go for Bilsteins...

bilsteins, harsh

much smoother ride than the konis. dampers are far better build quality as well as being stronger, look at the thickness of the rod

See i think its the other way round been in a nova and corsa with Billies and also my mates pug 106 GT on billies and all of them were HARSH...handled well but fuck mine i couldnt drive that every day.

I've Konis on mine, damping rate ajustable and on soft they are just firm not hard....

My old Konis were harsh as they had seen the best part of 65k miles
