RAC are crap i wouldnt bother...I rember back in the day when I was with RAC i broke down near luton called them out and they couldnt fix my car. So when i asked them to tow it home he declined and only would tow it to the nearest garrage then he wouldnt take me home so I had to wait for four hours for my g/f to come pick me up.

With the AA I'v called them out to my max limit every year and every time they have taken me to the garrage of MY CHOICE and even gone out of their way for me on many occasions. And they even take you home which is a bonus

RAC are coonts

which cover do you have though, option 100 thats 45 quid, they tow you to the nearest garage if they can't fix it by the roadside.

I used to have the basic one years ago and they still towed me home and to the garrage i wanted?

I've now got the 2nd best one as my car breaks down a lot

If it dont bother you what garrage you go to just take the cheapest one going then?
