1.6 16v motor
sbd tb kit with mbe ecu about 160bhp limit at 8000rpm
btb exhaust
quaife straight cut gear kit and lsd 4:53 final drive
1/4 mile 14.7
top speed 115mph on 8000rpm limiter
oh and it no longer exist. was broke up for spares over a year ago

1150 for the gearkit
550 for the lsd
300 for protec developments to put it all together because i didnt have a clue
so alot!
makes the car totally totally different tho. Its always in the powerband and accelerates much quicker due to the high final drive.

4.53 finl drive! makes one hell of a difference..... im going for a 4.18....

yes, makes it accelerate alot better by keeping the car in the power band.... mates nova has a 4.53 and lsd, and that flies.

yes absolutly screams like a bitch. The straight cut gears whine loudly and because of the really hard engine mounts it had and the stripped out interior the cabin noise was very loud anyway.
i used to use an intercom with headsets if i had to drive it anywhere as the noise wears you out after a while and you were unable to hold a conversation at anything more then walking pace.
4.53 final drive is a bit to extreme for a road car i'd say the 4.18 is probably better. Its alot of money to pay for a gearbox but it really does make the biggest transformation to the way the car drives.
