i bet your microphone was turned right down
mine could be set off by dropping a 1p coin on the front windowscreen, dump valves, jingling keys and any other "glasss" like sounds as i had it turned right up. turned down it does nothing, same as the knock sensor

I know of someone who sued Clifford because "his alarm didnt go off quick enough." Dont know how he was able to prove that.
But he won and the payout was enough to repair the damages and replace his system(which is worth over £2000).
