ok......so remember my car had all those problems with lack of power and miss fireing!!!!

and vauxhall told me it was the cat.......

well i change the ecu temp switch in the block...no change.....
02 sensor in the cat.....no change.......so in a last ditch attempt to find out what was actually wrong [dreading spending out 250 at vaux] i tried a Mass airflow metre from a mates corsa...........

the bloody car ran fine!!!

went and got a bosch part from local motor factors [189.99] ......they were on ebay for 90.00 but i had to get one friday for a trip to canterbury to see my gf......

so anyway payed the money and now car runs sweet!!!!!!

only one minor glitch is that it srill runs bellow 1100 revs at cold start?!?!?!

could that just be a vacume or another sensor?????

i shouldnt think the idle speed is a problem below 1100?
