think about it, im due £1800 for my accident, hit me in the same place, well rear passenger door, i was fine for about 24 hours then my back was so so sore 
just watch out for any symptoms developing

IF she wants to pay privately, tell her to wait until you've had it evaluated. She obviously doesn't want to lose her ncb, but if she gave you £250 and it ended up being a lot more (labour / spraying etc) - then you'd be out of pocket.
For a similar reason I wouldn't go through insurance as they may jsut write it off as the car's not worth much and it's crazy how much garages charge for even the smallest things.

I am lucky she is being good about it, just pissed off atm. The whole thing could have been avoided if she had just looked, doesnt even take a second!
Been mega wary driving home  dont want anyone else going into the back of me!
