they are a little, but the optimum swept volume for a 4-stroke, petrol is about 250cc - 300cc, it would require some good engineering, but its not odd, the charade gtti is three cylinder, apparently for the same reason

nope 3 litre, well they were not they're v8

Just thought it was a bit of a mad engine, can't be that good/reliable or you'd see more.
