go for it all you would need is some 15mm spacers. was gonna do this on gf's polo but got some old skool bbs split rims instead

Yeah thats what im worried about, the Loop handles so well as is it and i dont wanna mess that up by fitting wheels that wern't really designed for it

the offset will be spot on with spacers. standard is et35 speedlines are et49 so with 15mm spacer your offset would be et34 so its more or less spot on.

thats why you use spacers to make it the correct offset. 16s look fine on lupos

but why fuck around with spaces, i love lupo GTI's and have been fortuat to drive loads at work
drive a standar one, then drive on on 16" and indeed 17", the diffrence is silly

Thats what i was meaning JR, by adding spacers it will surley mess up the handling on them??
Deep dish 15's and slammed may be the better option

i would suggest something leightweigth to aid handling, then lower it, have a serch for pics of the lupo cup cars, OZ multipokes and slammed looks nice, and it will still handel as well as it does ans standard, ir not better

I had a lupo gti, brilliant car. Those wheels look good on it.

using spacers would do shit to the handling as it would be the same as standard and the wheels would only be an inch bigger so not much different there.
i agree some deep dish 15s or even 14s and slammed on its riggot would be a good way to go
