i dont think it is him bidding as such, i think he has put in a maximum bid and each time someone else tries to bid his bid will increase to his chosen amount, and the way it logs it, it makes it look like he is constantly bidding.

No they are each separate bids, I beat him each time but it only shows me bidding once at 200.03 before he won and I had to bid again to beat him.

thats what i mean, i dont think it logs your bids as it automatically increments his bid.

(or maybe he really wanted the item)

yeah that is just what happens when you put in a maximum bid and someone out bids it. Strange I know as you would of thought it would show who out bid each time, but happened to me so know its due to that.

also if you notice the times of bids, the last three of yours were spaced out from his, which makes me think he wasnt logged in at the time and when he did come online he outbidded you but didnt set a highest bid

i was watching one the other day, and a chap placed 113 bids, put price up from £340 to £1080 odd

i gave up
