yes
as long as lights work and all sharp edges are covered and you have an excuse,a nd display a number plate
if you get stopped, you "have to be" on your way to the bodyshop IMO

I've done it before. Drove across town to the bodyshop with bumper in the boot..
I did go out and do it at 6am though so that there was less chance of me killing someone.
Duck tape should be strong enough to hold it together, it's managed to hold mine for 6 months now...

Without a bumper no. Imagine hitting someone , what will duct tape do exactly

stop the edges imbedding in them
how come you can drive, say, an austin allegro then? that had lame metal bumpers that would act as a small bull bar thingy
just dont hit someone
and only drive to bodyshop

Bollocks some tape will never stop that .
Yes cars like that are from years ago and I would think safety standards were not up to what they are now ?

depends how much tape
anyway, i think he meant "just hold the bumper together with tape"
and to be fair, if you hit someone, a bumper wouldnt do much good anyway, unless it was made out of a duvet

a bumper doesnt do anything in an accident anyway except for shatter the fuck all over the shop, its whats behind that protects you, your no more exposed as far as safety is concerned

Its legal but there must be no sharp edges protruding.

I drove from Luton to Chatham & back again with no front bumper on C13. Along the M1, M25 & A2 even overtook a Police car along the way on the M25.
