Argos - 15 for air bed!
Also i had a product shipped from states arrived and i said deliver next door if im not in, the name on the parcel was spelt wrong and not much like mine, so my neighbours refused it.
The parcel then got sent to the uk distributor, i had to ring them and ask about it, but was too late as had been sent back to states, waited another 2 weeks and finally got my product,
in my opinion they can only deliver to the address name you provide with the details that you give them, so if there wrong or the product was not signed for and unknown its your fault

Look
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&search_result=&db=pc&cidr_client=none&lang=&pc=SY232HF&advanced=&client=public&addr2=&quicksearch=SY23+2HF&addr3=&addr1=
Its really not hard to find where he lives, thats a post code search for a map, on the databases for delivery companys they have all the street names tied into the post codes, then the post codes are sectioned into devliery drivers,
when the data was input onto the database regarding your delivery it should have been noted what ur street name was from that, how do you think the address auto completes work on websites when u enter just your number and postcode..

mate why not get the shipping reference number from the first time he says it was delivered and the company could not find the address, then call the delivery companys customer service line and simply ask what happened with regards to the deliver of said item if you give the reference code to the person on the phone they should be able to see a record of what happened, and if it did actually get sent straigh back to sender.
and like some one else said i used to work closly with many delivery agencies and never once heard of it being sent straigh back to sender, usually goes to closest depo for a few days.
sounds like a twat if you ask me.

I have the parcel tracking number. It was delivered today but i told the company to send it back to sender so it did come to the flat inside the building so they could obviously find it!
I will let you know when he contacts me then maybe you can help me draft a reply to him as i am pretty shite at this lol

I am highly un-impressed with the service I have received from you.
I have been left wondering what on earth is happening with this situation. Am I getting a refund?
I would like you to answer this question for me. Why was the package able to be delivered on Monday and not on the Friday? Surely if they were able to find my property on the Monday it would have been possible for them to find it on the Friday. I was not contacted on the Friday to inform me that there was a problem with the location of my property. So I am wondering why this is still classed as "100% my fault" as you said in your last e-mail.
As a previous employee of a delivery company I know that the majority of the vehicles are equipped with sat nav and highly advanced address location tools and databases. It is entirely possible to find properties with only the postcode and house name/number.
I can understand that you are trying to claim that you are not responsible for the product not getting to me but as the vendor of the product you are the person that has to deal with the problem. If it was the delivery company’s problem then you need to seek compensation from them.
As it stands you have my property and my money. Now I would like my money refunded to me through pay pal with what ever fee’s that might be subject to. I want the exact money (£45.40) into my paypal account.
As I said before I am quite happy to leave you positive feedback if you will do the same for me as it’s a chance for us both to raise levels.
Please let me know ASAP or I will have to report this to e-bay as it Is becoming a worry.
Thats what i am about to send him as i havnt heard anything from him. Is that good or should i re-word it and add anything?

I work for Royal Mail and if the correct address isn't on a letter/parcel it gets returned to sender, don't even attempt to look it up on multimap or anything like that.

If he refunds the Paypal transaction rather than raising a new one the fees will be forgotten about. Have him go in to the details and there's an option to refund it in there.

Also what proof do I have that the product was actually sent out to me before the weekend? You failed to send me a tracking number untill after the weekend.
I can understand that you are trying to claim that you are not responsible for the product not getting to me but as the vendor of the product you are the person that has to deal with the problem. If it was the delivery company’s problem then you need to seek compensation from them.
I, as a consumor, under UK trading law do not have to deal with the third party involved (delivery company)
As it stands you have my property and my money. Now I would like my money refunded to me through pay pal with what ever fee’s that might be subject to. I want the exact money (£45.40) refundedinto my paypal account. You can do this by choosing the refund money option in pay pal, this way neither of us incur fees.
As I said before I am quite happy to leave you positive feedback if you will do the same for me as it’s a chance for us both to raise levels.
