For the last week or so when i turn a sharp right or go round a roundabout the handbrake light light comes on on the dash 
 
Has ne1 experienced anything similar and how did u fix it??

Isnt the handbrake cable operated though plus it only happens if the car is turning right - not if its going left :S

The handbrake and brakefluid light are the same one on the dash mate, i just topped mine up because of the exact same thing

if anyone else was wondering what to use its dot 4, guess i was low on fluid, the light went out after i topped it up, there was me ready to spend money on getting the handbrake cable and rear brakes done =s

Got it fixed but was a little more serious than expected.  Saturday morning my brakes completely stopped working so i took it in to get looked at - needed new pads on the front, shoes on the back and 2 new slave cylinders at the back 
 
Came to £160

you should check pads at same time, the fluid doesn't just vanish, it mean the pads have wore down
