Grand opening of the new Ripspeed X in charlton, so took a wander down there, was actually quite impressed, not many chav's, quite a few nice motors, and they also had a rolling road supplied and operated by Red Dot.
met a couple of old faces i havent seen for a while, one guy i used to go to school with now has a Mk5 Astra GSI 2.2 turbo, he got about 250 on the rollers (think he was disappointed as he was told by regal that it should be around the 270 mark)
nice MR2 that touched just over 300
and a really nice skyline with 447.

i didnt actually venture into halfords at all  met that guy with the silly powered gold/copper coloured corsa B with the LET, was gonna ring you guys but the time was getting on and they were closing at 5.
wanted to put my corsa on there but it would have probably stalled on the guy on the way up the ramps, its seriously doing my head in, put everything back to normal (manifold with lambda) and its still running shit. but spoke to a top bloke from a company called GSR who said he would be happy to take a look at it as a favour for arranging something between CS and his engineering company (he wants to design a uprated induction and for us to be the test bunnies )

Mk5 astra will never have a Gsi model range as its been dropped for the VXR badge.
A 2.2 turbo is not in the Mk5 or Mk4 range and even if it was a bored out Z20LET which I very much doubt is even possible kthen it would get a lot more than 250BHP.

could well be a Mk4 2.2 Sri with a turbo conversion Regal have just finished the first one in the UK. They are hoping to get around 250BHP but I doubt they would have said 270BHP, also Regal have a rolling road so he/she should be aware of the BHP figure.. What colour was the car?
