Hey guys, got a few things to do over the next few months..... and am going to be smoothing my door handles and fitting some door poppers, I know that I need to have buttons on the outside for MOT, so will need these setting up so they only work whilst the car is not alarmed?

What kits do you recommend? I want to keep the inside door handles, and am going to be getting a new alarm system, have been thinking maybe a toad A606?? will this opperate the poppers?

If you wire up a solinoid to work off the latch on the door which the internal door handle works off then the door will only open when the door is unlocked. You will need to wire this to a permenant live so it is always supplied with power and the solinoid will pop all the time.

If you get everything fitted and working before you get your alarm fitted then the solinoid can operate as an accessory off your alarm, the fitter will program and wire this in for you.

Oh, it is also good practice to wire the solinoid off of a relay, it will also make the job easier for the alarm fitter when he makes the solinoid operate off of the key fob.

Would like to ask a question about this myself,

Ive currently got an alarm with remote central locking, and have new smooth doors and poppers ready to go on, how hard is it to connect it to the alarm?
