What would you guys go for n why?
Gona be keeping it for at least 2 years so needs to be reliable etc

Want it to be fairly good on fuel and not too much to maintain. Insurance isnt a problem.

Pug 306 GTi-6 are deceptively quick, would be my choice as they handle well too.
Clio Williams would be great but getting old and fragile now.

How much?

I would also consider a 96-00 Honda Civic VTi Hatch. Going for about 4k with decent miles, honda reliability, look excellent, a few simple mods and 190bhp is easily reached, colour coded and a front/rear lip and its looks great.

I'd be tempted by the clio, although the high mileage is a bit of a put off!
Second choice would be the vectra
