jst searched for my 2 saxos and have found that my 2002 saxo was on the wrong tax band.

iv always been told that tax is higher for 1600cc (well 15**cc) but i only payed £68.75 for 6 months with my old saxo, but on my recent saxo i payed the higher price of £93.50

they wer both same engine sizes so why was one different from the other?

cant remeber the exact year but new cars now are taxed on how much co they produce not the engine size
so your older saxo would have been taxed on its cc and the newer one on the emmissions it produced

worked it out, its when the tax runs out.
i sold my blue nova in august last year to some guy from edinburgh, its tax ran out in october and that site says it wasnt renewed after that.

so either the guy split the car and sold it or crashed it and was written off then probably split it and sold bits or is running the car without tax
