hello i have a corsa 1.6 gsi with manzel manifold and shit loads other engine mods and a was driving it today when the in car heater started cutting out then died then radiator fan died and batt seemed deadish any1 have any idea's?

when you fitted the mantzel, there is an earth lead which used to go on the old inlet and is now re-possitioned to the head were the throttal body used to be, if its any were eles that is not effective enough, with the cold weather if this earth lead gets any moisture on it, it cuts the car out as its the main earth for the coil pack.

col and did yours start up alright and drive but ya heaters in ya car didn't blow and ya fan on the radiator wouldn't work so if ya drive it, it will over heat because no fan?

never had them probs mate, that earth is just the engine side of the loom. as for your problem with the rad and heater blowers....they both work from the same relay and they are sittuated behind the glove box so maybe that is sticking. or like muppetsport said could be a dead altinator if the engine is conk'd as well

found out what the problem was it was the egnition module the second round relay thing behind the egnition
