as above will a 3/8 socket do the job or are there special ones u can get?

get a female torx socket, i got mine off ebay.

you'll no doubt need a 1/2inch drive socket, but u find one the correct size an it'll do, there's nothing special

i got mine from halfrauds, was a couple of pounds, then needed a reducer socket which was another couple of pounds

what engine?
my 1/2" drive female torx is too big to get to the bolt of a 20xe even if you take the cams out.

had to use a 3/8 on short extension and then a 1/2-3/8 adapter to get it on a decent wrench.
