My girlfirends phone is riddled with problems, all software
* Switching itself off and on
* Makes the txt recieved sound when u send a message 
to name but a few problems.
None are particularly life threatning just wondered short of sending it to a repair centre, to steal pics of me bangin my girl, is there a way i can do a software update to the latest version myself (i have a DKU2)? Im not used to nokias so sorry if theres a simple answer i looked on nokia.co.uk but couldnt seem to find n e thing.

Well, everytime a message is sent, the balence comes up which comes in as a message hence the message tone

theres obviously a firmware problem.
If you can backup everything do this.
Then take it to the shop, they will wipe/flash it and re-install the firmware (maybe even update it if there is a new version out).
I have a 6230i but i dont know if there is an update.

yeah i know i can back it all up onto the mem card, its a 512meg job just wanted to be able to do it at home rather than send it off for a couple of weeks under warrenty

take it to carphonewarehouse nokia repair centre (shuld have at least 1 store near u) with ure recipt...tell them the problems
