What is your job title? Systems & Networking Engineer
What does your job role entail? Ensuring that the company's entire internal network runs reliably; building/configuring new equipment to implement into the network; speaking with transit/peering providers to improve the network; configuring the network to implement new customers.
Are you happy in your work place? Very, it's amazingly relaxed, and it's so good to escape from call-after-call that the Support guys have to deal with (did that for 3.5 years).
What sort of company do you work for? An Internet Services Provider (ISP).
What qualifications do you have? Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) degree.

Ha ha - too true Stevo.
A mate of mine worked for the NHS for two years as a health promotions officer - akin to Homer's role as safety officer.
His work consisted of turning up after 9 with a hangover drinking coffee and eating biscuits and surfing the tintrawebnet till lunch time and then hitting the pub or going home for lunch for two hours, then back to the office for an afternoon of the same sort of slog and then the 3 - 5 minute walk home at 5pm.
