The 'next generation' of players at the club.
Robin Van Persie. Should he be started consistantly up frony with Henry? i think he is a very good finisher as proven last night and with his 2 goals against Blackburn last year also the last minute equaliser against southampton too.....
Cesc Fabregas. Awesome and will be even better once he has a bit more body strength.
Reyes still not sure what his problem is. He seems to frustrate the senior players at the club like Henry/Bergkamp etc. Though I could be wrong.
Emanuel Eboue. Looks strong quick as shown in the build up to RVP 2nd last night. should be a good player.
Quincy Owusu-Abeiye (sp) I have heard good things about him but not seen much of him.....same for Lupoli.
And finally Bentley, why doesnt Wenger ever start him. He IMHO looks like such a good player I dont get it.
There are a few others, Hoyte, Senderos etc etc but I cannae be bothered to type any more....
So whats every ones opinions on these players
BTW, I am not busy at work and a football related thread is always a good way to spice things up

trying to get your own back cos u fcuked up Jamie
Anyway nephew, i know what your saying and i agree, problem is Arsenal have some good players then more average (not including van persie etc) younger players but because Wenger beleives buying "superstars" is wrong you won't get anywhere.

Thats ok in one sence because all the 37 superstars at Chelsea will get fed up of not getting a full 90mins etc.
I was hearing rumours that Torres could be a potential January target but like I said. Only a rumour.

They won't they might get frustrated but then when they play they will work there socks off, they won't get bored getting good money, playing for a world class team and winning.... Everyone wants to be a winner !
Torres is a good player but again he isn't a superstar.

2 years ago we was the unbeatable team, and i have never in my time of supporting 18 years never seen a team that are so good to watch, we started to loose that at the end of last season.
The departure of viera has left a big hole which the youngsters cant quite fill in yet, but given time will im sure.
Van persie now after all the shit last year seems level headed and very focused, reyes is good but i beleive he thinks hes better then he really is.
Lupoli is very very good, scored many times under 21's italy in qualifiers.
I love watching ljunberg, bergkamp and henry all work togethor thats what we did 2 years ago,
give us a year or 2 and i think with the youngsters we will be getting there.
Henry needs to stay and renew contract, and we need a world class centre midfield to take up vieras place, someone big and commanding.
But im pleased with the way we are doing, i dont expect we will finish top 3 or win anything this year but we will make the grounds ready for next year and the start at emirates stadium

Reyes is not great anymore, hes definately lost it. Probably doesnt help him being booted around the pitch most games though.
We desperately need a Viera replacement though, remember the days of Viera and Petit was amazing to watch.
TBH im not fussed about this season, we are bound to lose it a bit after being so good for so long. Ive seen what we can do on the pitch, and im sure it will return, i am patient.
Chelsea dont bother me at all anymore, they are a joke. In my eyes 2nd place is the new 1st

Some good opinions there Brad. Though I dont think I would be talking shoot if I said a top 3 finish isnt unrealstic. With United dip in form it is a superb opportunity to make up ground on them. I also suspect that teams like West Ham/Wigan/Man City/Charlton will fade come Spring possibly before.
On the other hand it would be great to see Wigan and the Hammers to stay up and do well.....
