I jus got a 1.0 12v R reg corsa, is there anything i need or can i dump it straight in? 1.4 16v comin from '96 corsa

wirings a bit different and the driver side engine mounts need a bit of faffery but it'll go in

will i need to change wiring loom and ecu aswell?

got a feelin it's jus ecu but not sure

only real issue is that the 1.0 ecu is in the engine bay, whereas the 1.4 16v ecu is in the drivers footwell

but it shouldnt be to tricky to screw into the footwell, is it? so the loom itself will virtually come out easily then?

also i no i'd hav to update the V5, an if i do that how much will it be an will i have to declare a transplated engine on the insurance?

dvla should not charge you for updating the engine cc as for the insurance side of things By law you are meant to declare it for what it is

obviously some people choose to forget if you have an accident it could come back on ya tho....

There is no bloody point in putting in a 1.4 into your 1.0. Sell your car and buy a new one with a 1.4
