hey...

is it possible to have a perspex or see through bonnet made? .. this would be for everyday use, not just for shows.

... just something I was wondering about really. anyone have an ideas?

it can be done

have seen it on a few show cars, not sure about everyday use but you can get them done. no ideas about costs though

Yea, but it would melt when the engine got hot, perspex goes soft at about 70 degrees I think... You would need to use a thremosetting plastic if you wanted to use it every day, however it would then need to be injection moulded, so if you have a spare £100,000+ to make the mould then go for it...
