eBay dont give a shit about people getting ripped off.
when the show started it said that eBay uk profits in the last 3 months where up by 40%, so why cant they set up a call centre for people with problems instead of getting shitty emails.

eBay are complete twats. If someone pays with PayPal using a credit card that has reached its limit or they register the card as being stolen then the seller gets the money taken out of there PayPal or bank account depending on if you have funds in your PayPal account. It’s happened to me a few times and eBay never do anything about it. They just take the money off you. Hence, I would never sell anything expensive on there now. They do have a call centre you can call but everytime I have called - the person can just about speak basic English and had no idea what I was talking about. The links under help just give you an automated reply and when someone does eventually give you a reply, again it’s just a standard e-mail. I got fed up in the end and just left it.

My mate had a debt collector knock at his house over selling fees. Was for less that £6 too. What a joke

I hope the judge makes an example that young lad. Had ripped people off of over £200,000. Surely his parents must have noticed something with all the stuff he had in his room and around the house. My parents are always on my case about what I’m spending money on and I don’t even live with them. However, they really do help me out a lot.

I cannot believe people would pay £165 plus postage for a phone off someone without any feedback. I did feel sorry for the lad saving up all summer for the phone and then not getting it though.
