I think its pretty a pretty wank rule. I was talking to my mate from scuderia ecosse, he was telling me that the ferrari aerodynamnics engineers were concerned that the ammount of turbulance will make a car following close behind flip over or at least lift up the front and make it wheelie

whats it called again when you catch up to a car in front because there sheilding the wind from you???

looks like this wing wont shield the wind as much and maybe make it harder to overtake.

That's pish even the zonda has swapped from two seperate wings to one full one to aid down force. The officials have effectively fucked f1 up over the past 10 years imo. I agree bring back manual gearboxes

The FIA are full of shit. They bring in all these new rule changes like no tyre changes, same day qualifying, etc. hoping to make it more entertaining. And all they do is the exact opposite!

Yes, they're even bringing tyre changes back next year (suppose they need to with power being slightly down) although the new v8's are meant to be producing 900bhpish at 21(ish)k revs
